Created in 2017: a perfume the fourth generation started twenty years earlier and the fifth completed. Inspired by the opulent flower still lifes of the Baroque period. "Baroque" comes from the Portuguese word for an irregular pearl, and that irregularity is the idea: delicate flowers against robust spice and wood.

Jasmine, violet and ylang ylang with cardamom and incense, over amber, sandalwood and musk.

How it wears: a complex winter floral; sophisticated and daring. Evening, autumn and winter.
