Created in 1914. A young woman in Provence wrote love letters to her fiancé in Berlin; lavender, sandalwood and tonka bean became the bridge between them. Rediscovered in the 1930s, it became the first unisex fragrance of the House.

Leather and black tea recall Berlin around 1910; lavender adds the romance. The mystery sits somewhere between the top and the base.

How it wears: smoky and warm, long on the skin. Evening, autumn and winter. Unisex.
