Commissioned in 1920 by an Italian librettist who wanted a scent of his favourite holiday spot: Bordighera, on the Italian Riviera. Albert Krigler spent a summer there in a villa designed by the architect of the Paris Opera, among the lemon trees that line the coast.

Lemon and Sicilian bergamot, rose absolute, grapefruit blossom and jasmine, finished with cashmere wood. Sea air and citrus.

How it wears: exhilarating and clean. Daytime, spring and summer. Unisex.
